New Edinburgh-Lindenlea-Beechwood Village is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Ottawa and when entering its street you feel like you have escaped into the country. The communities are located in Ottawa East and are found where the Rideau River meets the Ottawa River. The neighbourhood is home to Rideau Hall, the Governor General of Canada's Residence, and 24 Sussex Drive, the Prime Minister's Residence

Recreational Opportunities

New Edinburgh-Lindenlea-Beechwood Village is a beautiful community full of recreational opportunities. There is also an annual sleigh ride and chili dinner, a Canada Day breakfast, Pumpkins in the Park, Beechwood Solstice Stroll and Outdoor Movies in the Park. The community also is home to the Beechwood Market that has everything from local produce to prepared food and wine. Much of the indoor activity in the New Edinburgh Community Association.
